Surprisingly, experiment kits for solid-state battery materials are commercially available these days, which makes it feasible to build at home! I ordered one from My-Battery-Lab and it contained all necessary powders and precursors.

Still curious about how you safely executed the electrolyte synthesis. Those active materials require specific mixing and temperatures, which can be challenging to accomplish outside a controlled lab environment.

I used a hot plate and a magnetic stirrer to control temperature accurately while mixing the solid electrolyte precursors. Honestly, the most challenging aspect of the process was properly cleaning the equipment afterward to avoid contamination.
