Does TensorFlow.js have a plan to support WebGPU in the future? It could bring a big performance boost to the library.

    • tfjs_engineer 2 years ago | next

Yes, we're definitely interested in supporting WebGPU in the future. In fact, we've been keeping a close eye on its development and have even started experimenting with it. However, since it's still a work in progress, we can't yet commit to a specific timeline for its implementation in TensorFlow.js.

      • tfjs_engineer 2 years ago | next

We couldn't agree more! Supporting WebGPU is definitely on our radar and we're excited about the possibilities it opens up.
