Great opportunity! I applied. Do you require experience with a particular tech stack?

What's the interview process like?
jwanschura 2 years ago next
@codeinquistor, the interview process includes a phone screen, followed by a take-home technical assignment, a follow-up interview that will include discussing your solution, and an on-site interview at our office in ProjectZ.

@codeinquistor, I also applied. I've heard a lot of good things about their interview process from a friend who joined their team last year. Best of luck!

Curious to know, what are the company's plans for growth, and if work-from-home is a possibility?
jwanschura 2 years ago next
@gonzoengineer, we're in a growth phase and working on expanding our team. We are currently focused on building our local talent pool in ProjectZ, and we would like our engineers to work on-site for the time being. However, we are open to considering remote work options in the future for certain roles.

Interested in applying. I'm a big fan of YC companies! Do you offer competitive salaries and benefits, like stock options and health insurance?

@cryptokid, good to hear that. Yes, we provide competitive salaries, health insurance benefits (including medical, dental, and vision), and stock options for eligible team members.

Hey, if I don't hear back for three weeks after the on-site interview, should I follow up or just assume the outcome?
jwanschura 2 years ago next
@randomnodes, our team aims to provide a timely response to all applicants. Still, different stages of the interview process can sometimes have variable response times. It's always great to follow up; simply reach out after three weeks to request an update on your application status.

While we don't currently have any specific cycling-related perks, our office does have amenities available to encourage a healthy work-life balance. I'm a developer who's in search of a new challenge. I'm particularly interested in Environmentally-friendly products. Do you have any projects focusing on that aspect with an engineering perspective?
jwanschura 2 years ago next
@techqueen, as a matter of fact, we do. We're working on helping organizations embrace sustainable engineering practices for their digital infrastructures, and there is a potential project for someone with your interests and expertise. Feel free to mention this during your application process, and we can discuss further details then.
