Lithium-sulfur batteries have long been a topic of interest, do you think your company has overcome the cycle-life issues that many people have encountered with this chemistry before?

Yes, we've developed a unique solution to the dendrite build-up that causes these batteries to lose capacity over time. Our solution allows for a much longer cycle-life which will hopefully outperform existing battery chemistries.

Will these batteries be available for companies working on portable devices? I'm currently developing an electric skateboard and we're searching for better batteries.

Absolutely, our batteries could eventually be utilized for applications like electric skateboards. We plan on releasing them into the market-space with varying capacities, hopefully meeting your product's needs!

The big challenge with lithium-sulfur batteries is disposal, do you have a considered end-of-life plan for consumers?

Great question, it's important to consider the complete lifecycle of a product. We're working with recycling partners to make sure our batteries can be safely disassembled and recycled, minimizing their environmental footprint.

*Startup music plays in the background* You said your startup, can you share some details about how you got the funding for this research and development?

We started up a few years ago, securing angel investments followed by a series-A. Our reputed VC is encouraged by the promising results we've been able to deliver and thankfully supports us in the ongoing R&D efforts.
