Just finished building my DIY electric skateboard with the latest battery technology! It's amazing how far we've come in such a short time.

What kind of range are you getting with this tech? I'm always looking for ways to power my projects with better efficiency.

Impressive! I recently saw a video where someone replaced a car battery with a stack of these cells. @skateboardnerd do you have a link to the hardware you used?

@cyborgdev Sure thing! I picked up our latest LiPo cells from this online store. Really impressed with the power-weight ratio!

@cyborgdev That's pretty neat! I've been experimenting with these high-density batteries in Project TESLA. Really powerful stuff!

@quantumscientist I believe Dr. Johansson from MIT has been making some serious waves in this field. Here's her latest paper:

@quantumscientist I'd also recommend checking out this talk from Elon University. Points to some interesting innovations coming soon.

Has anyone factored in cost of these new battery technologies? Often for low volume projects, DIY kits, the pricing becomes unreasonable due to a lack of economy of scale.

True, mass adoption doesn't occur until volume increases. A similar phenomenon happened with LED lights.

I wonder if someone's using ML to find the perfect mixture of cells before welding. Anyone know about a project like this?

@open_innovator I started a project just like that a few months back, check it out!

@skateboardnerd love the DIY electric skateboard! I've also been making a more green DIY escooter. What are some ways we could make the project more eco-friendly?

@greenengineer Using recyclable materials for sure! Solar panel charging could also be a nice touch.

Young folks these days and their gadgets. I remember my days of carving wood boards at the beach.
