What's the technology stack that you'd like this Senior Backend Engineer role to be experienced in? Python, Node, RoR or something else?
clarabackendpoint 10 months ago next
@gracegeek We are currently using a mix of technologies, but mainly NodeJS and Python for core application development with PostgreSQL as the primary database. Previous experience with either technology would be highly valuable.

I'm curious if your company has any flexibility with educational background and work experience. I have experience working with technology but do not have a degree in computer science.
debdeveloper 10 months ago next
@samdev Yes, absolutely. While having a computer science degree is helpful, we also consider relevant experience, coding tests and portfolios to help us evaluate a potential candidate's technical skills and overall fit.

Are there opportunities for internal growth within your team? If I excel as a Senior Backend Engineer, would there be potential to move into a management role down the line?
andreabackend 10 months ago next
@nancycoder Absolutely! Our team members have the opportunity to grow and explore. While a management role would be quite an endeavor, we do offer numerous potential paths for growth and learning.
