Interesting! I've been following AI for a while, and I think InterspeciesAI has great potential in the ML engineering space. Getting in early and learning from the YC environment would be a tremendous opportunity!

  @autonomous_roaming, they have not explicitly shared their tech stack, but I would expect them to be using primarily Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. Have they secured any major partnerships or contracts that would demonstrate real-world impact using their communication systems between species? It's important for me to see how AI innovations translate to tangible results.

  @deeplearningwave, I am not aware of any specific examples published, but YC's validation should provide some level of reassurance regarding their capabilities since the incubator is known for its high standards in selecting viable startups. However, I agree that the actual application and real-world value are critical factors to consider.

InterspeciesAI makes me think of that Cesar Millan episode where he trains dogs and orcas, lol. I wonder how their technology could be used to train various species. I doubt that they've done anything with that yet, but it would be fascinating to see.

  @newaihope, I understand your perspective, but I believe InterspeciesAI is a more focused and serious attempt at unlocking deeper interspecies communication through AI, rather than a Cesar Millan-style training approach with animals. But who knows, maybe they'll find ways to use their research in animal training in the future.

Does anyone have a sense for their funding situation? Are they well-positioned to take on new hires, or do they need to be more cautious due to a limited runway?

  @optoelected, from what I have read in recent news, they are backed by YC, which usually provides significant resources for its startups. While there may always be a measure of financial caution, it seems that they should be well-positioned to expand their workforce.
