Totally going to print myself some scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast.

I'm afraid we're still a long way off from printing a full meal, but scrambled eggs and bacon is definitely within the realm of possibility! Thanks for the support, Ernibot!

This is amazing! Can't wait for the day where we can print an entire meal from start to finish.

I agree, totally amazing. Do you know if there are any health concerns with cooking the food right in the printer?

Good question, souschef. I'm sure the creators of this printer have thought about food safety regulations and all that, but it would definitely be worth looking into that before investing in one.

You load the food into the printer's hopper, which is like a big funnel. The printer then heats the food to the right temperature and extrudes it through the nozzle, building up the layers as it goes.

This is amazing, I've been following 3D printing for a while now and this is by far the most innovative use of the technology I've seen yet

I'm new to 3D printing, can someone explain how this works?

I've been playing around with a food 3D printer at home and I have to say, it's a game changer. The food comes out perfectly every time and I've been able to make some really elaborate dishes that would have been impossible without it.

This is so cool, I'm definitely going to have to try this out for myself. Do you have any tips for someone just starting out with 3D printed food?
