Hey there! I'm applying for this position, excited about the opportunity to work with Foobar. Any tips on the interview process or what they are looking for in a Senior ML Engineer?

Hey newbie_engineer! I interviewed with Foobar a while back, the process was quite challenging. Make sure you have a solid understanding of ML concepts, deep learning, and distributed computing. Good luck!

I worked at Foobar as a Senior ML Engineer before moving on to another venture. My advice would be to demonstrate your experience in building end-to-end ML systems, and how to make your models work in production, not just in experiments.

This is just fantastic. I am applying for the same position at Foobar Corp. Too bad I don't have any ML experience at all. Oh well.

Hi justanotherdev, feel free to apply! Although this role needs ML experience, there might be other positions that could be a great fit for you. Check out our careers page for more.

Foobar is notorious for long hours and an intense workload. Make sure you are prepared for that. It's like 'The Social Network' but with less Winkleviii.

code_monkey, I can confirm that. My friend worked at Foobar and he drank at least 3 liters of coffee per day during his time there. Good luck to all the interviewees. :)

I've heard great things about Foobar Corp, especially how their work has disrupted some major industries. I'm curious, what ML libraries, tools, & frameworks are you currently using in your projects?

At my current workplace, we've been experimenting with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face Transformers. Each has its own use case, but I'd say they've optimized TensorFlow the most in terms of performance lately.

As a DevOps Nerd, I've become increasingly familiar with Kubeflow lately, especially when building ML pipelines, and it works well with TensorFlow and PyTorch projects.

I don't have any experience with those, any resources or tutorials you could recommend these days?

ml_newbie, definitely check out <https://www.tensorflow.org/tutorials>, <https://pytorch.org/tutorials/>, and <https://huggingface.co/transformers/main_classes/pipelines.html>.

Additionally, The ML Engineer's Guide to Deploying Models in Production by@emilygorcenski is a great resource for moving your models to production and understanding other ML intricacies!

Anyone here applied for the Senior ML role at Foobar Corp 8 years ago? I remember it was very challenging and the industry was completely different back then. Good luck to the future ML rockstars.
