This is an interesting development. Real-time collaboration makes it so much easier to work on documents together. I'm curious to see how it performs with large teams working on big projects.

@user1 I completely agree! With my team spread across different time zones, this can be a game changer for us. I wonder if there will be any lag issues with real-time editing.

I share the same excitement! We had some experiences with Google Docs for real-time collaborations before, but they miss text editor features. Let's hope this new editor will fill the gap!

I'm cautiously optimistic about this. I love the idea of real-time collaboration, but I'm concerned with how conflicts will be handled with so many users editing at the same time. Anyone have feedback on their experience with that so far?

.@user4 I had the same concern, but so far they seem to have an intelligent system to handle those conflicts. In the example I've seen so far, writers get to approve the resolution, so you don't end up overwriting someone else's work accidentally.

Really excited about this as a big fan of XYZ editor but with the addition of real-time collaboration features. It may just replace ABC editor within my organization quickly. Anyone tried integrating this with popular IDEs and other daily workflow tools yet?

@user6 They mentioned they aim for easy integration with other popular tools and that's on their roadmap. But as of now, I haven't seen further details or demos regarding this.

Great! With my team relying heavily on new tools in our CI/CD pipelines, I'm curious how it plays with the setup. We're always looking to optimize our processes, and a seamlessly integrated text editor like this one could be a real boost in productivity.

Does it have a version history/restore feature since actual merging of the changes is happening on-the-go? It's a pity if this has not been thought through.

@user9 Yes, they mentioned versioning will be an important feature. You can dive into and compare past versions. So rest assured, you can restore if needed. I used a demo and was impressed with that functionality.
