Hey, I'm really interested in this role at Gossamer Labs. I've been working with functional programming and React for a while and this looks like a great fit. Can someone share more details about the tech stack they're using?

Hi @john_doe_ycx21, we're glad you're excited about the opportunity! We mainly work with Node.js at the backend and use TypeScript in our stack. Our frontend is React based and we rely heavily on GraphQL for API interactions. Our repositories are hosted on GitHub and we use Jest for testing. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions!

Sounds like a fantastic team and technology stack. I'm planning to apply. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to standout in the interview process?

I just interviewed there last month. I'd recommend brushing up on your GraphQL, TypeScript and showing them your past projects with functional programming techniques. Also, be prepared to answer questions about how you'd design scalable and secure backend systems.

Make sure you're well-versed in algorithms and data structures. They asked me several questions in that area and I noticed a couple of my peers were asked about the same. Also, participating and contributing to open-source projects really boosts your chances.

Are they also open for remote applicants, or is it onsite?

I applied remotely, and they were great to work with. I'd be happy to answer any specific questions regarding remote work.
