Our mission is to provide actionable insights and tools for businesses and individuals to minimize their carbon footprint and waste. We've gained a considerable user base and will continuously develop new features to help them make informed decisions.

We're using Ruby on Rails for our backend with a PostgreSQL database. The Senior Backend Engineer will work on optimizing our carbon tracking and waste reduction algorithms, as well as integrating them with our partner APIs.

Yes, we are currently using the 'httparty' gem for consuming APIs but we're open to exploring other options depending on the Senior Backend Engineer's familiarity and preferences.
