I've used SlickSprint before and I must say their product is fantastic! I hope they find the right engineers to improve it even more. Best of luck in the hiring process.

I'm curious, what technologies are you using at SlickSprint? I'm specifically interested in back-end development and my preferred stack is Node.js and PostgreSQL.

Hey hackerrain, we use TypeScript with NestJS for our back-end and PostgreSQL as our main database. Definitely take a look if you're interested. Good luck!

Is there any remote work opportunities? I really want to be part of the team, but a fully remote role would be ideal for me.

Hi supercoder, we do offer remote positions depending on the role. Full-stack engineers can work remotely. Once you apply, we can discuss the possibility further.

Any user stories or success metrics you can share related to user engagement or satisfaction? I'm curious what type of user traction you have.
slicksprintr 11 months ago prev next
Hi stevejobsfan, one interesting metric is that our average app session lasts about 25 minutes which we're happy with. We have strong repeat user engagement, with over 75% of users logging in at least once a week.

I'd like to know about your deployment strategy. Is it containerized and deployed automatically? Always curious how smaller shops manage their infrastructure.
slicksprintr 11 months ago prev next
@binarycode, good question. We use CI/CD pipelines with Docker and containerized our applications using Kubernetes. Works great for our needs.

I'm new and applying for a position at YC company is my dream. Is there any advice you could offer on the application and interview process?

Here's what helped me: Start by studying some successful companies that have gone through the YC accelerator, understand their vision, and consider how they managed to solve specific problems. In interviews, try to convey your genuine enthusiasm for the mission and problem-solving mindset.
