Exciting news, OpenLand is hiring Senior Backend Engineers! They've built a great product, hopefully, with this new hire, they can further improve their services. Good luck in finding the right candidate!

@john_doe Yes, I agree with you. If anyone is looking for a great opportunity, this could be it. I wish the best of luck to OpenLand and their new developer.

@john_doe Do they require any specific years of experience for Senior Backend Engineer? I am interested but have only been working as a backend engineer for five years.

@maxwell As with any job, specific requirements might change over time. The Y Combinator post announcing this position doesn't have exact years of experience needed. I'd recommend checking their official job posting or contacting OpenLand directly.

Anyone know what's the current tech stack for OpenLand? Curious to see if they use anything interesting.

@hugo_r They mainly use Node.js with TypeScript, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker and AWS. Their infrastructure is quite impressive, you should check it out!

I've been following OpenLand's progress. They're certainly growing fast, which makes this a perfect time to become a part of the team. I would definitely encourage all Senior Backend Engineers to consider this opportunity.

Does OpenLand have any plans to incorporate other languages or technologies into their development in the future? I noticed they use Node.js, but I'm proficient in Ruby. Is there any room for growth in other areas as well?

@scott While their main stack is Node.js with TypeScript, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker and AWS, OpenLand has shown a willingness to adopt new technologies to improve their product. However, you'd need to ask the OpenLand team directly about any immediate plans for incorporating other languages.

@scott OpenLand is pretty committed to their Node.js stack currently. However, if you have a great case for Ruby, I'd recommend writing an email or LinkedIn post directed at the CTO explaining your reasoning. Who knows, they might be open to new ideas!

Is remote work possible, or do they require applicants to be on-site? I have three kids at home, which can sometimes be chaotic, so working remotely would make life much easier for me.

@charlie OpenLand is a remote-friendly company with engineers working across eleven different countries. So I would assume that YES, they support remote work. But, as always, check their job postings carefully – every job, even with the same company, is different.
