@maxwell As with any job, specific requirements might change over time. The Y Combinator post announcing this position doesn't have exact years of experience needed. I'd recommend checking their official job posting or contacting OpenLand directly.

@hugo_r They mainly use Node.js with TypeScript, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker and AWS. Their infrastructure is quite impressive, you should check it out!

Does OpenLand have any plans to incorporate other languages or technologies into their development in the future? I noticed they use Node.js, but I'm proficient in Ruby. Is there any room for growth in other areas as well?

@scott While their main stack is Node.js with TypeScript, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker and AWS, OpenLand has shown a willingness to adopt new technologies to improve their product. However, you'd need to ask the OpenLand team directly about any immediate plans for incorporating other languages.

@scott OpenLand is pretty committed to their Node.js stack currently. However, if you have a great case for Ruby, I'd recommend writing an email or LinkedIn post directed at the CTO explaining your reasoning. Who knows, they might be open to new ideas!

Is remote work possible, or do they require applicants to be on-site? I have three kids at home, which can sometimes be chaotic, so working remotely would make life much easier for me.

@charlie OpenLand is a remote-friendly company with engineers working across eleven different countries. So I would assume that YES, they support remote work. But, as always, check their job postings carefully – every job, even with the same company, is different.
