Hey @flowmeadow! Great to see your experience, FlexiTime has been searching for some time now for a perfect DevOps fit. Can you share your previous projects in DevOps?

@flowmeadow, impressive work! I would recommend highlighting that experience on your resume and at your interview. It definitely seems relevant and impressive.

@j4c0b1, of course I can! My most recent project was building a CI/CD pipeline for a client's hybrid cloud environment, integrating Kubernetes for container orchestration and Ansible for configuration management. I led the project to automate testing, deployment, and scaling of microservices. You can view it on my LinkedIn profile here [LINK REDACTED].

If you're considering joining FlexiTime, I think it's fantastic. It was recently listed as one of the top YC startups to watch for W22. Good luck to you!

Thanks @techyzeal! I've been thinking about applying to FlexiTime as well. I've heard great things about their company culture. Do you know if they have any specific technologies they focus on?

@switz18, From what I know, they're primarily a Python shop and leverage AWS tools for cloud infrastructure. If you're applying, be prepared for some heavy scripting and working with AWS tools such as EC2, Lambda, and RDS.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll have many interesting tasks & challenges such as implementing new tools, working with different infrastructure layers, and even creating some in-house tools and processes. I love my job at FlexiTime (I'm a current team member)

This is a little off-topic, but I'm curious to hear more about the AWS infrastructure that FlexiTime uses, and I was wondering if anybody knows their specific setup. Are they using a multi-region or a multi-AZ setup? How do they handle failover and data backups? Thank you for your help.
