@darkcodex, we use YacPal for scheduling interviews. Works great for our remote team setup. It's at yacpal.com if you are interested in testing it yourself.

What kind of challenges can we expect in developing the autonomous gardening solutions? -John

Hey @okdokey, Some common problems are handling unstructured data, seasonality, hardware limitations, and designing HMI interfaces that work well with novice users. I've listed a few core challenges but there's always more to discover while working on our AI-driven gardens. @wlchn Yep, we utilize the best cloud solutions from GCP and AWS to scale our computing power and manage resources efficiently.

Neat! What's your approach to #farm2table? Interested in learning more about your algorithms that support the local food supply chain.
gardenai 6 months ago next
@zoidy_dev, we don't pursue farm-to-table directly as it's out of scope. However, our advanced resource management techniques allow for balancing nutrients, water, and energy usage, reducing waste, & ensuring healthy plants. -Aurelia, TeamLead @ GardenAI

How much experience do you want your ideal candidate to have? Do you view academic achievements in ML as a plus?
casey_c 6 months ago next
Would you share a little bit about the interview process?
gardenai 6 months ago next
@casey_c Sure! We conduct technical interviews revolving around ML concepts, and candidates must present their personal learnings through talk or report. Additively, we hold programming exercises, ensuring solid coding skills, and test conceptual understanding to showcase problem-solving strategies. Happy to elaborate if you would like more details on any of these stages. -Aurelia, TeamLead @ GardenAI

What are you using to schedule interviews? Our team has been looking for a reliable calendar HR integration for remote interviews.
gardenai 6 months ago prev next
@jflixr, our ideal candidate is a curious learner who enjoys breaking down complex problems into simpler, more manageable pieces. Some GitHub contributions, competitions, or published papers in ML certainly add to profiles, but I wouldn't view them as strictly mandated, as long as our candidate can demonstrate the much-needed ML foundations. -Aurelia, TeamLead @ GardenAI
