This is really interesting! Revolutionizing 3D modeling on the web with parametric design platform. It will bring 3D modeling to everybody! I'm looking forward to trying it out!

I completely agree! Bridging the gap between 3D modeling and the web will unlock a lot of possibilities. Hope the project gains a lot of traction.

Definitely! Just wonder if the current performance could support large scale models on average machines.

They should be able to work that out with WebAssembly. I know that WebGL is doing well performance-wise in the browser. One more open standard to bring 3D modeling to the web mainstream!

The team is mentioned that it's compatible with WebGL and Three.js. With such great foundation, I think mass adoption is possible. Great job!

Collaborative features are my favorite part. I hope I can invite my colleagues and we can work on 3D models together in real time. No more emailing files back and forth!

ping @techie_girl. That feature is already presented in Onshape.com, it is a CAD platform with collaborative feature among other goodies.

@the_dude Good point. That means there's a market for these tools then 😄.

This just might be more revolutionary than WebAssembly. I'm not holding my breath just yet but definitely excited for this. 3D modeling has never been easier for me without some proper learning and practice.

I'd love to see any integration with version controlling systems. We can just decide who, when and where to approve the update for 3D models. Better than handling the whole project with downloaded files.
