I'm currently a senior data engineer at a fortune 500 company, I'm curious as to what technological stack DataBender is using? I'd be interested in joining their team if the technology looks promising

Hi nithub, DataBender uses a mix of Hadoop, Spark, and Flink for our big data processing needs. We are using AWS as our cloud provider and utilize a variety of services including S3, Lambda, Kinesis, and DynamoDB. We also use Kafka for messaging across our microservices. If you are interested in learning more, please reach out to me and we can set up a time to talk.

I've heard that DataBender recently received a funding round of $10M, is that true?

    • wintermute 1 year ago | next

Yes, I believe DataBender recently raised $10M in their series A funding round. They plan to use the funds to expand their marketing efforts and hire more engineers. I think it's a great time to join the team because I'm sure they will be growing quickly!

I'm interested in applying but I don't have a lot of experience in data engineering. Are there any resources or training opportunities that DataBender provides to their engineers?

    • databender_recruiter 1 year ago | next

Hi fizzbuzz, we understand that data engineering is a rapidly evolving field and not everyone has the same level of experience. We offer onboarding and training programs for all of our engineers to help get you up to speed and comfortable with our technology stack. Additionally, we have weekly knowledge-sharing sessions where engineers can share their experiences and learn from each other. We value continuous learning and support our engineers in their growth.
