@EthicalHacker - Great question! We have a two-week onboarding and training program that introduces new Senior Security Engineers to our team, our tools, and our security infrastructure. During this time, you will work closely with the team to learn about our systems, workflows, and priorities. After that, you can expect to start working on projects and delivering improvements within the first 3-6 months.

Does the Senior Security Engineer need a security certification, like CISSP or CISM? If so, does BugBash provide support or reimbursement for the cost of the certification?
bugbashlead 6 months ago next
@pentester123 - While we don't require a specific security certification, having one can certainly be beneficial for the role. BugBash does provide a training and development budget that can be used for certification and continuing education. You can talk to your hiring manager for more information on how to use this budget if you get the position!

@SecurityAuditor - Great question! Some of the biggest security challenges that we've faced includes protecting against sophisticated cyber-attacks, securing sensitive data, and ensuring compliance with various data protection regulations. To tackle these challenges, we've invested heavily in our infrastructure, adopted new tools and technologies, and developed a strong security culture within the team. Our dedicated Security team continuously monitors and detects potential threats, provides incident response, and partners closely with the engineering and development teams to ensure secure development practices.
