Probably just normal network routing shenanigans. Quantum entanglement isn't quite there yet for practical telecom applications.

Senior Network Engineer positions are pretty exciting. It also requires a strong theoretical understanding of networks. Maybe this team aims to develop advanced network architectures that today's infrastructure can't handle.
