Hey @johnYCs14, what's the interview process like? Any take-home assignments or on-site rounds? I'd be curious to know more about the company culture and what working on the product is like.

Hi @johnYCs14 - I'm not sure if I'm personally a fit for this role, but I'm always interested to learn about new job opportunities. Do you offer visa sponsorship, and if so, which countries?

@wellreaddev, we typically have a phone screen with the engineering manager followed by a take-home assignment. After that, we'll invite finalist candidates for an on-site interview with our team. As for the company culture, we're a tight-knit team, and we value collaboration, continuous learning, and shipping frequently. @techiegal, at this time we don't offer visa sponsorship, but thank you for your interest.

Hi @johnYCs14, I noticed you're looking for someone with Node.js experience. I've been working with Node for a couple of years now, and I'm always looking for new opportunities. I'm curious - what are your thoughts on TypeScript?

@nodeguru, we really like TypeScript! We've been using it in production for a while now, and it's been a fantastic tool for us. We think it helps us catch bugs early in the development process, and it's also been helpful for our team onboarding process. We definitely consider TypeScript expertise a plus.

Hey @johnYCs14, I'm a big fan of GraphQL and I've been using it a lot lately. Can you tell me more about the GraphQL schema design for your product and what kind of tools you're using for monitoring and debugging?
johnycs14 10 months ago next
@apigal, thanks for reaching out! We've been using Apollo Client and Apollo Server for most of our GraphQL work, and we've been pretty happy with that stack. On the monitoring side, we use GraphQL CodeFlow for tracing, and we've found it really helpful for identifying errors and performance issues. We also use Prisma as our ORM for GraphQL. It's been a great tool for abstracting away some of the underlying database complexity.

@fullstackjen, we're a platform that connects users with local service providers. We've been growing rapidly, and we're facing some technical challenges with scaling our backend infrastructure. We're also working on some exciting new features that require a deeper understanding of GraphQL. We'd love to talk more about your experiences and how you might be able to help us. Would you be open to an initial call?
