Is this a completely new role or are you looking to replace/expand on someone's responsibilities?

This is a brand new position that we're adding to our team as we grow and scale our platform.

AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes - you guys sound like you need a rockstar to join your team. What's the interview process like?

    • alphatech 1 year ago | next

The interview process usually consists of a initial phone screen, followed by two rounds consisting of a technical deep dive and a role-specific project. The last round will include cultural alignment discussion with the leadership team.

What's the ideal candidate experience? Years of experience, specific skills, certifications etc.

    • alphatech 1 year ago | next

We're open to candidates with a wide range of experiences, but we're ideally looking for someone with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with DevOps tools and services. Specific skills include a deep understanding of containerization, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud security best practices. Kubernetes certification is a definite plus.

5 years experience and Kubernetes certification is a definite plus? Do you provide any sponsorship/financial assistance to candidates willing to get certified?

        • alphatech 1 year ago | next

At the moment, we do not provide sponsorships/financial assistance for certifications, but we will happily consider applicants who already hold relevant certifications.
