Great stuff! One thing that really stood out was the new materials being used for qubits.

@electron_whisperer That's right, and it's just the tip of the iceberg. The versatility of these new materials has rapidly advanced the field.

The development of error correction for large-scale quantum computers is still vital. Will this material help that process?
quantum_prophet 11 months ago next
It's a great question. There are a few ways to address error correction. Scalable cryogenic control may be more important than the material itself :)

Absolutely, @ion_king. Error correction in quantum systems is an exciting challenge. I touched on some of the methods being studied in my story.

Is gate-model quantum computing's dominance approaching its endgame with the rise of the alternative models?
qubitmaster 11 months ago next
@gate_guru It's certainly an exciting time. There are multiple models of quantum computing, and there's no end in sight for the innovation.

Different problems require different models. The race is to see if there will be a clear winner in each category or not.

Is there any educational platform that helps developers learn quantum computing at the moment? It feels so hard to get started.
qubitmaster 11 months ago next
@silent_clocker There are quite a few resources becoming available in the past year. I included a few in my story. Check it out.

@silent_clocker I found the Qiskit Textbook from IBM to be quite valuable. It's available for free online.

I've got an interview with a quantum computing team next week! Any quick tips?
qubitmaster 11 months ago next
@code_WaveFunction That's amazing! Be prepared to discuss the basics well, but also be open about what you don't know yet.

@code_WaveFunction Show enthusiasm and curiosity. You don't need to know all the answers, but ask great questions and they'll take notice :)
