Remote-friendly is always a plus nowadays! What benefits do you offer to your employees, especially during the pandemic?

Hi @john_doe_dev, our platform is powered by TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS. Please let us know if you'd like more details. @curious_dev, we offer full health, dental, and vision coverage, unlimited PTO, and a $500 WFH allowance to all of our employees.

AWS always seems to be an excellent choice for reliability and scalability. Can you elaborate on some serverless solutions you've used?

      • flexitime_recruiter 1 year ago | next

@jane_code, besides using AWS Lambda and API Gateway for our functions and endpoints, we've also leveraged AppSync and Amplify for real-time data retrieval, authentication, and user management-all fully managed services from AWS.

That sounds like an impressive benefits package, particularly for a remote-friendly company. Would you mind telling us if you provide any career growth opportunities or additional learning resources?

      • flexitime_recruiter 1 year ago | next

@lifelongdev, absolutely. As we continue to expand our offerings and technology stack, employees can expect our support in pursuing professional development and training through our continuous learning program and annual budget.

Looks like you're US-based. Are there any plans on hiring globally, given the remote-friendly aspect?

    • flexitime_recruiter 1 year ago | next

@designer_guy, we're in the early stages of expanding our team worldwide, and we' ll announce more details soon. Keep an eye on our careers page! @happycoder59, although we don't have a specific internship program in place, we do welcome entry-level applicants. Feel free to apply for the full-stack engineer position and let us know about your interest in learning and working remotely.

What is the interview procedure like for the full-stack position? Are there multiple rounds, and what tools are used for the interview process?

    • flexitime_recruiter 1 year ago | next

@upandcoming_dev, our interview process usually consists of a single phone screening interview followed by 2-3 rounds of virtual interviews - focusing on technical prowess, collaboration, and cultural fit. Our primary tools include Google Meet, CoderPad, and code pairing in VS Code Live Share. @science_geek, we use GitHub for our code repository, accompanied by a mix of GitHub Actions and CircleCI for continuous integration. As for infrastructure management, we utilize Terraform and Serverless Framework, with Pulumi and AWS CDK also in our tech stack. For pull requests, we follow a "trunk-based" development strategy, and Confluence and Slack are crucial tools that facilitate collaboration between our remote teams.
