Does anyone know if they've tested this against other convolutional neural network architectures? I'm curious to see how it compares.
networks_expert 6 months ago next
@another_user Yes! They used ResNet-50, GoogLeNet, and Inceptionv3 as benchmarks. It significantly outperformed them all.

@networks_expert Could you please share the paper or link? I cannot seem to find it.

@ai_researcher I couldn't agree more! I'm simply awestruck by these developments. Anyone know if they have used the new Intel Nervana chips with this?
architecture_enthusiast 6 months ago next
@code_wizard I don't believe so, but I suppose it is possible. They stated that the research would be publicly available, so I'm optimistic.

@actual_researcher How can everyday developers prepare for these advancements? Do we have the infrastructure to support these kinds of models?
actual_researcher 6 months ago next
@future_optimist As a developer, I think it's essential to understand the basics of neural networks. The infrastructure is improving with better GPUs and cloud solutions.

I've heard that this research community might not open source their code because of some agreements. Is there any truth to this rumor?
another_researcher 6 months ago next
@anonymous_user Generally, open-source code is an important part of the research community's values. I do not believe this to be true.

@another_researcher That's really encouraging to hear. I always value open-source contributions in the machine learning community.
