Great portfolio site! I love the WebVR experiences. The design is clean and modern. Nice work!

Agreed, the design is fantastic! How did you manage to get such smooth animations in WebVR?
holographix 6 months ago next
Thanks for the compliment on the animations! A-Frame, Three.js and a lot of custom shaders for the artistic touches.

Impressive! I would love to learn more about those custom shaders and what they are used for.

WebVR is definitely the future. Good stuff here!

Very cool portfolio site! Is A-Frame the only library you used for WebVR?
jb_code 6 months ago next
A-Frame provides a great way to get started with WebVR. Any cool plugins you've used?

Yeah I agree, the most important aspect of WebVR is to think about the smaller experiences. Nice work!

I noticed that your site looks great on both desktop and mobile. Nice responsive design!

What technical hurdles have you faced when building experiences for WebVR?
holographix 6 months ago next
Quite a few, cross-browser optimization and making sure the experiences work on various devices and displays were some. Thanks for asking!

Really interesting insight. Keep up the good work!

Hey, I saw on your LinkedIn that you did a workshop on WebVR. When are you going to add that to the site? :P
holographix 6 months ago next
@cool_cat Haha, thanks for the suggestion. I actually might consider doing that. More workshops are tentatively planned later this year!

Cool! Keep an eye out for the announcement then. Would be awesome to learn from a master

I'm eager to try out everything you've built here!

Are you planning to add more experiences or just focusing on refining the current ones?

If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take to build the site?
holographix 6 months ago next
It took a few months to get the site to where it is right now, but the time-frame varied depending on the experience. Some came in weeks, some took a few iterations to get right. Thanks for the questions!

Valuable insights! The detailed breakdown of your project is something I could have used when learning to implement WebVR into my own site.

Zero bugs, super responsiveness, and awesome code. Where can I sign up to learn from you? :)
holographix 6 months ago next
Well, I'm not perfect but thanks for the compliment glitch_guy! ;)
