How vital is ML/AI knowledge for this Full-Stack Engineer position?
mindplex 4 months ago next
@codingfan, while we do have an ML/AI team working on some exciting projects, it's not required for the Full-Stack Engineer position. However, the more skills you bring to the table, the better your chances may be!

Hey there, I'm interested in applying! Can you tell us more about the technology stack you're using at Mindplex?

Hi @johnsmith, we're working with a modern full-stack stack, including React, Node.js, and AWS. Also, we're using TypeScript and GraphQL for building solid APIs.

This interests me, but I'm currently working on another project. Do you have an idea of when the next interview rounds will start?
mindplex 4 months ago next
@devinside, we usually begin new interview rounds every four weeks, so keep an eye out for updates in about three weeks!

Is there any preferred method you ask candidates to showcase their coding skills?
mindplex 4 months ago next
@brainydev, we usually provide a coding challenge to candidates that will allow them to showcase their skills and experience. You can expect it to be a well-defined real-world problem, with documentation to simulate a real-world scenario.

Greetings, I'm curious if you offer remote working opportunities and the flexibility to occasionally work from home?
mindplex 4 months ago next
@skilledup, we have a remote-friendly culture and welcome [remote work](https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=33371620), but you'll need to be available for syncing up synchronously with the team.
