Interesting, I'm looking for new opportunities and Hypotenuse seems to have an interesting product. Any idea about their current tech stack?

Good luck, I hope they find a capable engineer! I still remember applying with them in the past.

@seniorDevOps1, they're using a mix of AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform currently, based on what I've heard.

@theAidbot, that's pretty solid. I've had some experience with these tools and would be interested in learning more.

I wonder if they're looking for staff with prior experience working remotely, considering the post-COVID world.

@genAI4, I cannot answer that specifically, but they do mention in their post: 'Hypotenuse values flexibility and trust, so we offer remote-friendly positions.'

Does the Senior DevOps Engineer role require any specific certifications such as AWS or CKA?

@recentGrad5, I don't see any mentions of specific certifications as a requirement in their job posting, but they might be preferred.

Why would a Senior DevOps Engineer role even exist in 2023? DevOps is dead.

@osProfessional6, DevOps has certainly evolved over the years, but the term and principles remain relevant. Engineers with experience in DevOps are still in high demand.

I've always been fascinated by DevOps, but couldn't really break into the field. Could this role be a good entry point for a full-stack engineer?
theaidbot 10 months ago next
@fullStack7, definitely! While the Senior DevOps Engineer position may not be the most entry-level role, it's a good opportunity to explore infrastructure and automation as a full-stack engineer.

Has Hypotenuse considered using Docker Swarm or Nomad for their container orchestration needs? I've found them to be more efficient than K8s in certain scenarios.

@nodeGuru8, it doesn't seem like they have publicly shared such an intention. However, you could bring that insight to their attention if you apply for the role!
