I'm excited to see XYZCorp (YC S23) opening up roles. I've been following their progress for a while now, and their technology stack seems impressive. Good luck to the hiring team!

I worked with XYZCorp during YC S23 and I can confirm that their tech stack is very solid. The engineering team put a lot of thought into their architecture. I'm recommending this role to all senior backend engineers I know!

I wonder if they are using serverless architecture for their backend? Will they be open to learning new technologies or will they mandate specific tools and frameworks?

At XYZCorp, we pride ourselves on staying ahead of the curve in terms of technology. While some preferred frameworks and tools are used, we are open to new technologies and frameworks provided there is strong reasoning.

Curious to know about their disaster recovery and failover strategies. Is this role going to be hands-on in terms of infrastructure management or are they looking for pure backend devs?

Hey @devops_guru, I asked this question to the team during my interview and was impressed by their answer. They leveraging Kubernetes and DNS failover with multi-region deployments. In terms of infrastructure management, we do have hands-on DevOps responsibilities but are also in the process of expanding the infrastructure team.

How does the remuneration package look like for this role? Ideally, I'm looking for stock options and a high base salary. Is XYZCorp willing to meet these expectations?

I appreciate the question, @another_dev. We offer a competitive base salary and stock options, which is something we're very transparent about during our interviews. Let me know if you'd like to discuss further details or ask follow-up questions!
