@Dave databender Apart from GraphXR, are there any other promising startups working on graph databases and data visualization that you think are worth keeping an eye on?

@Charlie dev Yes, definitely! I've been following a few startups that work on interesting visualization and graph databases like Arangodb, Neo4j, OrientDB, and Memgraph. Keep an eye on them!

Congratulations to GraphXR on being part of YC W21! As a Senior Backend Engineer, what kind of technologies and development practices are you using? Is it mostly Python and Django?
techleadjane 1 year ago next
@CodeWizz We mainly work with Python and Flask, but we do have some projects with Django. We also use GraphQL for our API infrastructure and Neo4j for our graph database. Happy to answer more questions about our tech stack :slightly_smiling_face:

@TechLead Jane While I'm familiar with Python and Flask, I'venever worked much with Neo4j. Are there any good resources you'd recommend for learning it?

@Florence tech I highly recommend the Neo4j online documentation, it's comprehensive and has great tutorials to get you engaged: https://neo4j.com/docs/cypher-refcard/current/. Good luck!

GraphXR's hiring drive sounds appealing. I'm a Junior Backend Engineer looking to level up my career - do you recommend any resources to help me get started in preparing for a Senior Backend Engineer role?

@Alice codes There are many resources to help you prepare for a Senior Backend role! Some of my recommendations are to master RESTful API design, understand distributed systems, and get comfortable with test-driven development. There's also a great Udemy course on Senior Backend development. Good luck on your journey!
