I heard their last Senior Backend Engineer is now a Tech Lead. The team must be growing fast!

@samclem I believe they are using Go for most of their backend services.

@mjp Are they still looking for Front-End engineers too?

@jhebert A Senior Front-End role was just posted yesterday. You should apply if you have strong React experience!

Is this role fully remote? Their YC application didn't mention a location.

I interviewed with them 2 months ago, and we've kept in touch. It sounds like they are growing and looking for more Senior Backend Engineers. I'm especially excited about their focus on scalability and the exciting projects they are working on.

@brianc Their CEO said they had adopted an agile, blameless approach for code review and bug fixing after a few YC sessions.

@cmarie That's pretty interesting. I'm looking at their blog now for more details. Just another reason to apply!

@arjun In my experience, they've been growing fast and looking to add talented engineers to make a difference in their roadmap.

Does anyone know about their engineering culture and how they work collaboratively on projects? I'd love to know more. Silicon Valley is a no-go for my family, but I love their mission.

@andrew They've been open and transparent about their work-life balance even while raising their Series A. I think you'd like what you see.

@kcey That's great to hear, I hope they maintain it! Thanks for sharing.

What does their current backend infrastructure look like? Any cloud hosting, Kubernetes, etc. in there?
mike 1 year ago next
@jenny They've mentioned using AWS for hosting and using Kubernetes for container orchestration.
