Hey HN, I'm new to quantum computing and looking for some resources to learn from. Is there a comprehensive, up-to-date list out there for self-learners? Thanks in advance!

Definitely check out Qiskit, the open-source framework by IBM. It's got great resources and documentation.

Qiskit is fantastic, especially their tutorials. I'd highly recommend starting with those.

I'm a big fan of the Quantum Computing for the Very Curious course on edX.

Michel Van Biezen's Quantum Computing - a gentle introduction is also an excellent starting point. It's available on Leanpub with a pay-what-you-want model.

To get a better overview of the concepts, I found the Quantum Computing for the Curious book quite useful.

That book looks very interesting! Have you tried any other resources as well?

Yes, I've tried a few MOOCs, several books, and coding exercises focused on Quantum Computing. The book is perfect for grasping the concepts for the first time.

I created a comprehensive list of quantum computing resources on GitHub recently. It has something for every learning style and level: https//github.com/user/quantum-computing-resources

There are also some great Quantum Computing courses on Coursera. Or, if you prefer books, Quantum Computing Explained is a good one.

Thanks! I'll take a look at that book and check Coursera's offerings as well.

@quantum_master Both the Q# and Qiskit implementations of Microsoft's Quantum Katas are worth doing. They help reinforce the theory with practical exercises.

That's a great idea! I've heard about the Quantum Katas, but haven't yet tried them. Thanks for the suggestion.
