This is incredible! Good luck with the hiring process. I'm looking forward to seeing the projects your team will produce. Do you have anyRequirements on education or experience level?

@johnsmith We're primarily looking for Ph.D.s in Computer Science, ML, or Statistics. However, the most important factor we consider is demonstrated ability to build and optimize ML models. If that sounds like you, don't hesitate to apply!

@johnsmith To answer your question specifically, we have a preference for candidates with a Master's or Ph.D. degree but would still consider talented Data Scientists who can demonstrate exceptional competence in ML projects.

What programming languages are you primarily using for development? Most of my experience is in Python, and I'd like to learn how your team manages multi-language projects.

@datacoder We love Python! Our Open Source Machine Learning Library (YC W20) uses Python as its main programming language. Some components are also developed using C++ for high-performance computing tasks. Join the discussion and share your thoughts: <https://discuss.mlproject.com/t/python-vs-cpp>

Ideally, would you prefer to hire candidates with open-source contributions or can strong industry experience still be considered?

@respondinguser While it's not required, having open-source contributions is a plus. Candidates who are willing to contribute to open-source projects can excel in our work environment, but even without these contributions, substantive industry experience makes their mark as valid consideration. Please visit our company site for more information.

Is this a remote position or should I be prepared to relocate for this role?
