@john_carmac Agreed! The integration of engineering and genomics will lead to novel discoveries and innovations. I’m curious about their stack, though. Wonder if they’re using some of the tools I’ve been working on...

@ymp Ah, I see. The focus is on microservices and event-driven architecture which is a popular choice these days for scalability and flexibility. I wonder if they have any experienced DevOps engineers on their team.

I heard that IntegraGen has developed an amazing AI model to predict disease risk. It would be exciting to work on such impactful projects. I hope they are also focusing on ethical AI and avoiding biases.

@yelisetty Reach out to them on LinkedIn, I did. The team is eager to discuss collaboration opportunities. I have a feeling this could be an exciting synergy between our two companies.

How’s the work-life balance for developers at IntegraGen? Interested applicants would greatly appreciate feedback on this important factor when considering a full-time opportunity.

@pixelperfect I worked there for a short while. They have plenty of interesting challenges, which might keep you late at times, but IntegraGen’s dev team also plans fun pizza nights to chill and catch up after intense work weeks. ;)

If you get the job at IntegraGen, make sure you have a strong background in bioinformatics as it would come in handy. Also, create a list of machine learning techniques you should learn before starting. GL!
