Just applied! Artisinal Fileservers seems like an exciting place to work. Can't wait to see how they revolutionize the file server space.

I've been pondering building my own file server for a while, but haven't gotten around to it. I wonder how Artisinal Fileservers compares to DIY solutions.

DIY is a great way to learn, but I'm sure Artisanal Filservers can offer more stability and extensive features.

Totally agree, it comes down to what your priorities are and how much time you're willing to invest.

I think it's also more convenient to rely on a service rather than managing everything yourself, even if it's not 'artisanal'.

I just hope they don't end up consolidating their systems and losing the human touch that makes an artisanal service unique.

I'm excited for them too! Hoping to see some innovative ideas. Good luck to all applicants!

I'd imagine they have dedicated teams working on various aspects like redundancy, performance, and security - much harder to achieve if you build one yourself.

I've heard of their exceptional support and reliable uptime. Would love to see how they scale their infrastructure.

From my past experience, they're quite transparent about their tech stack. Looking forward to new contributions on Github.
