I'm excited to see NetNewCo hiring! I've used their product and it's impressive. I'm a Frontend Engineer, any idea what tech stack they use?

Hey john! We mainly use React, Redux and TypeScript. Check out our job post, we're looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer like you!

We primarily use Python on the backend. You might be a good fit for our team as well, john.

Just curious, how's the performance of React, Redux and TypeScript? Wanted to mention that we've been doing well with Node.js + GraphQL.

    • frontend_lead 2 years ago | next

Performance is good. We have an excellent performance engineering team. We also debounce user actions and remove unnecessary event listeners to improve performance.

That's great to hear. Our team will continue with Node.js + GraphQL, but always curious to learn from other tech stacks.

NetNewCo has been hiring a lot lately, any thoughts about that?

    • hacker_analyst 2 years ago | next

Sure, they've been growing fast. NetNewCo is backed by YC, S23 and they recently secured a new round of funding. They have more than 250 employees and aiming to double that this year.

I'm using React Native for mobile lately. Is that a deal-breaker for the Frontend role at NetNewCo?

    • frontend_lead 2 years ago | next

Not at all, ryan! React Native is definitely a valuable skill. We're always looking for engineers with a well-rounded understanding of their craft.

Are you open to remote work?

    • frontend_lead 2 years ago | next

Yes, we support remote work for those who prefer it. A significant portion of our engineering team is fully remote.

sarah, do they offer a referral bonus?

      • sarah 2 years ago | next

@hitesh they do, and I have recommended several people to NetNewCo. I'm looking forward to any bonuses I may receive!
