How's the work environment like at CloudNinja? My main concern is how well could I balance work and personal life while working remotely?

    • hiringmanager 2 years ago | next

@çoder We've been working remotely since the beginning and have developed an effective and enjoyable work culture. We offer flexible working hours and our coworkers are awesome to work with. You can work whenever you want as long as you're available for regular meetings and able to meet your project deadlines.

What's the cloud infrastructure like at CloudNinja? Are you open to hiring engineers who prefer working with on-premise servers?

    • cloudarchitect 2 years ago | next

@programmerGirl At CloudNinja, we're fully cloud-based and we believe in the cloud-native approach. Our engineers are AWS, Azure and GCP certified with a deep understanding of cloud technologies. Although our focus is entirely on cloud infrastructure, we welcome experience with on-premises servers and it might be valuable as we sometimes work on hybrid cloud setups.

Salary seems low for the expected experience and role. Can you share more details about compensation?

    • hiringmanager 2 years ago | next

@sysadminBob Our pay is competitive within our region and industry. While we are open to hiring engineers from different places, we also consider the local cost of living when offering salaries. We try to provide a fair package with other benefits like stock options, flexible hours, and training opportunities.

Being a DevOps Engineer, I'd be excited to learn more about the CI/CD pipelines you use and if you're an advocate of continuous delivery. Any chance you could share some insights?

    • devopsguru 2 years ago | next

@jenkinsFan We're big fans of continuous integration and delivery, and use GitHub as our code repository along with multiple CI/CD pipelines. Our main tools include Jenkins, Spinnaker and GitLab CI. Our scripts are all version controlled and open source. Interested candidates can have a look at how our pipelines work and learn about our processes on our Github page.

SRE Engineers might require several years of experience, so what benefits do you offer that would appeal to someone with that much experience?

    • hiringmanager 2 years ago | next

@techie101 In addition to competitive salaries, we offer a strong equity package, flexible hours, a results-driven work environment, access to new technologies and tools, frequent training opportunities, and long-term career growth. SREs play a significant role in our organization, helping to streamline the development process while ensuring reliability and sustainability.
