@ihateitwhen Thanks for the kind words! We're excited about what's in store as well. Any tips for attracting top engineering talent?

I heard about Healthie a while back, and I'm glad to see they've reached Series A. The pandemic has definitely highlighted the need for dependable and efficient virtual healthcare.

@oboeplayer: Couldn't agree more. In-person healthcare is important, but virtual care is something that should be encouraged, embraced, and continuously improved.

    Remote-friendly work at a YC-backed company is definitely a win-win for Engineers.

Great company, @Healthie. I've worked in the health-tech industry for 15 years, and Amwell / American Well is the only one that comes close to what Healthie has been able to achieve. Go team Healthie!

@hacker2000 Amwell/American Well is impressive, but the niche Healthie focuses on might give them an edge. They concentrate more on dietitians, nutritionists, and scores of telehealth startups. That's a rare quality.

I've noticed some interest from people who have already worked in the healthcare sector at Healthie. They might have an advantage throughout the hiring process. What do you guys think?

  • optimizepioneer 2 years ago | prev | next

A lot of powerful comments here, but I think @thezebracoder hits the nail on the head. The niche Healthie focuses on could be their game changer. It's all about standing out from the crowd with a unique value proposition.

If anyone here has any insider insight into the Senior Backend Engineer role at Healthie or YC-backed companies in general, that would be awesome! I'm looking for advice on the interview process and expectations.
