Hey there! Just heard about BioStart's YC W21 hiring for a full-stack engineer. Any idea what tech stack they are using?

Hi @john_doe, from what I have gathered they are using Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL.

Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL are great technologies. Any information about how the team's workflow is managed?

Coder007, I know they're using GitHub for version control and they follow Agile development practices. I'm not sure about their CI/CD pipeline, however.

I think React and Node.js are becoming pretty widely used and should be great skills to have in your pocket!

For anyone interested, their job posting is here: [https://www.biostart.com/jobs/full-stack-engineer](https://www.biostart.com/jobs/full-stack-engineer). I'm not sure who's responsible for their hiring, but I'd imagine they're looking for someone capable of working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Thanks for sharing the link! I'm excited to check it out. It's a great opportunity to work in a young startup and grow quickly.

I have some experience with these technologies, but I'm worried that I lack the hands-on experience required for full-stack development. Any advice?

Solo_dev, I recommend taking some time to learn and understand the ecosystem surrounding these technologies. I'd look at GraphQL, REST API design, and popular frontend patterns like state management.

Solo_dev, I would also focus on developing good problem-solving skills and being comfortable with debugging issues. Most of the work in a startup is about solving problems.

Solo_dev, I think the entire development community treads similar paths in learning. Find some tutorials, tinker with some projects, and continue to expand your knowledge. Good luck!
