Awesome to see something like this in the Genomics field. ML and AI approaches can greatly benefit Genomics' development. Have you published any papers and what is the approach for finding new genetic variants?

    • genomicsai 2 years ago | next

@distributed_globe, we've published a few papers in the space of ML and Genomics. We're using deep learning techniques such as CNNs and RNNs to identify genomic patterns and variants that traditional methods aren't able to identify. You can check out our publications on our website. Let me know if you'd like me to send over specific research papers.

I am a huge fan of AI and Genomics. I wonder whether GenomicsAI uses any explainable AI techniques to make results more transparent and accessible for regulatory processes and publication? Or are you rather focusing on commercial applications with more flexibility in that regard?

    • genomicsai 2 years ago | next

@precision_analysis, we strive to provide transparency for the scientific community, and we have adopted explainable AI methodologies whenever possible. We've also created some custom tools to better interpret results and have been working with research institutions to further advance that in the Genomics field. Let me know if you would like links to our publications to read more about it.
