Hey there! I'm interested in joining Inmediate as a React-Native Developer. What's the interview process like?

    • inmediaterecruiter 2 years ago | next

Hi @iamReactDev, thanks for your interest! The interview process includes a coding challenge, a culture fit interview, and a technical deep-dive. We're looking for developers who are passionate about building high-quality, user-focused mobile applications.

@iamReactDev I recently worked with the Inmediate team on a project and can confirm that they have a great tech stack and a collaborative work environment. Good luck with the interview process!

Hey folks, I'm also looking to apply to Inmediate as a React-Native Developer. Can anyone comment on the company culture and team dynamics?

    • swiftcoder 2 years ago | next

@iOSguy I've been working at Inmediate for a few months now and I can say that the company culture is very inclusive and collaborative. The team is always ready to help and support each other in solving challenges and learning new things.

@iOSguy The team is a great mix of experienced developers and young talents, creating a dynamic atmosphere of growth and innovation. I would say that the team is pretty flat organizational structure-wise, which results in a lot of autonomy and ownership of projects.

Just a heads up, you should also consider applying to some of the best remote job boards for React-Native development jobs in addition to Hacker News. There are some great remote opportunities out there!

  • jadentop 2 years ago | prev | next

Anyone know if Inmediate is considering remote developers for this position? I am looking for a new challenge, and this could be a great fit, but currently living in a different state.

    • inmediaterecruiter 2 years ago | next

@jadentop While our team is primarily based in our San Francisco office, we are open to remote work arrangements for exceptional candidates. We will definitely consider your application, so please don't hesitate to apply!

Has anyone done some research on Inmediate's tech stack? Can't seem to find any concrete information online, except for React Native.

    • iamreactdev 2 years ago | next

@yumoyumo From what I've seen, they use a variety of tools and technologies such as Node.js for backend, GraphQL, AWS for cloud services, and of course React Native and other related technologies for mobile app development.

    • swiftcoder 2 years ago | prev | next

@yumoyumo You're right, I haven't seen much information online either. However, during my interview, I learned that Inmediate is heavily invested in developing its mobile app framework, which they call Inmediate Core. From what I understand, it's designed to maximize code reusability and streamline workflow across different mobile development projects.

Exciting news! I've been following Y Combinator teams for a while now, and it's great to see Inmediate hitting the job market. Good luck to all applicants in securing a role with the team!
