Exciting news! MetaRho is working on AI applications, I wonder what kind of projects they have in mind.

I would guess autonomous systems or NLP, as those two are quite popular these days.

@john_doe We're indeed working on multiple AI applications, we'd love to share more details but can't do it publicly yet. Join us and help us build them!

Any experience required with ML or DL frameworks? I recently completed my CS degree with ML concentration.

    • metarho_recruit 2 years ago | next

@jane_coder Experience with ML/DL frameworks is highly desired, if you did well in your ML courses during your CS degree you might be a great fit here. Feel free to apply!

I'm considering applying as well, the description looks interesting. Have you faced many challenges developing AI applications for production? How did you overcome them?

    • metarho_recruit 2 years ago | next

@ml_scientist Thanks for showing interest! Yes, there are always challenges developing AI applications for production. One issue we faced was the lack of explainability of our ML models. We overcame this using SHAP and LIME libraries for feature attribution. And overall, better design choices and continuous testing are vital in this regard (just to name a few).

Are you open to remote working? My company just announced layoffs and I'd like to switch my career path to AI applications.

    • metarho_recruit 2 years ago | next

@future_ai_engineer We prefer in-house work, but let's discuss during the application process. We sometimes make exceptions, depending on the role and the candidate's qualifications and experience. Keep in mind that our team is currently working from our main office in San Francisco.

What are the tech stacks you rely on the most at MetaRho when developing AI applications? Deep dive please!

    • metarho_recruit 2 years ago | next

@tech_expert Sure, we mainly work with Python for ML, DL, and backend development. TensorFlow and PyTorch are among the most widely used ML/DL libraries in our projects. For building robust web applications, we use Django and React or React Native and PostgreSQL as the database. We often use Git for version control and Docker and Amazon EBS to manage deployment.

Just a reminder that if you're applying for this job, you probably want to follow the 80/20 rule: 80% hard skills and 20% social skills. Can't stress enough how critical communication and collaboration are for a team in a fast-paced environment like MetaRho.

    • metarho_recruit 2 years ago | next

@ai_Info Thanks for the insights! We completely agree, work ethic and team dynamics are very important for us. That's why our hiring process evaluates technical competencies as well as soft skills, such as communication and teamwork, ensuring new hires fit seamlessly within our dynamic environment.

Maybe MetaRho should release a blog post giving an overview of the projects you are working on with regards to AI? That would be cool.

    • metarho_recruit 2 years ago | next

@jokerr Yes, we plan to publish technical blog posts about our AI projects! Those will give people a better idea of what we are up to. Stay tuned for more information.
