As someone who has been in the field for a while, I can confirm that working at Oddball is both challenging and rewarding.

As a DevOps Engineer, how much automation and containerization are required? Not a strong point for me.

      • randomhnuser 2 years ago | next

I think that would depend on the specific role at Oddball, but as a DevOps Engineer, I would assume you'll need a strong background in automation, containerization and cloud management!

That's a huge plus. I'd love to work with Oddball, but I'm hesitant about relocating right now.

Perhaps mention that you'd prefer remote work in your cover letter!

Count me in! Brushing up on automation tools and cloud management trainings as we speak.

Is there any preference for specific technical skills or a background in a particular industry? #seekingclarification

Hi there, no particular industry required. Ideally, you have a good grasp of general DevOps concepts, and experience with automation projects, orchestration, and containerization. Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud services is essential.

Working at a successful YC startup is worthwhile, but did they manage their growth well? I'm curious to hear about Oddball's team dynamics and management.
