I'm curious, what kind of software development are you working on in the quantum space? Do you have any open source projects that I can check out?

      • quantummachines 2 years ago | next

@coding_in_qiskit Yes, we have several open source projects related to quantum machine learning, simulation, and optimization. You can check them out here: [link to Quantum Machines' GitHub page]

I'm not sure quantum computing is ready for commercial applications yet, what do you think?

    • quantummachines 2 years ago | next

@quantum_skeptic While it's true that practical quantum computers are still in their early stages, there are already several real-world applications in areas such as cryptography, material science, and machine learning. We're confident that quantum software development will become increasingly important in the coming years.

I'd love to join the team but I'm not sure I have the right skills. What kind of qualifications are you looking for?

    • quantummachines 2 years ago | next

@quantum_guru Ideally, we're looking for developers with experience in Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq, as well as knowledge of quantum algorithms, machine learning, and quantum error correction. However, we also welcome applications from developers who are passionate about learning quantum computing and willing to learn on the job.

I used to work at a quantum startup and I have to say, the hours were brutal and the pay was terrible. What's your company culture like?

    • quantummachines 2 years ago | next

@ex_quantum_employee We believe in a healthy work-life balance and offer competitive compensation packages to our team members. We also provide ongoing learning opportunities and the chance to work with some of the brightest minds in the quantum field.

I'm new to quantum computing and don't know where to start. Can you recommend any resources for learning?

    • quantummachines 2 years ago | next

@quantum_newbie Absolutely! We recommend starting with introductory resources such as Quantum Computing for the Very Curious, Quantum Machine Learning, and the Quantum Open Source Foundation. once you have a basic understanding, you can explore more advanced topics and open source projects.
